15th Icestock World Championships 2025 in Kapfenberg and Stanz

World championships in the "living room" of Icestock
Seven years after the 2018 World Championships in Amstetten, Austria will once again host an Icestock world championship from February 25 to March 9, 2025. Together with the Styrian Icestock Association we are looking forward to welcoming the global Icestock community to one of the most popular Icestock regions.
420 athletes – 2 venues – 30,000 spectators
The youth and junior players will kick things off on February 25. Around 420 athletes from 27 nations have registered for the competitions. In addition to the favorites from Germany, Austria and Italy, nations such as India, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Ghana and Colombia will also be competing. The target and team competitions will take place in the ice-hall in Kapfenberg. For the distance competitions, an artificial ice rink with a 2,000-capacity tent has been set up in Stanz, just a 30-minute drive from Kapfenberg. Over 3,000 spectators are expected per competition day.
The last World Championships took place in Ritten, Italy, in 2022. Germany won seven gold medals, ahead of Austria and Italy. Let’s see who will be this year on top of the Icestock world!
