At the European Youth Grand Prix of the IFI (EYGP) 2022, which was held place from August 5th to 7th, 2022 in Schaftlach (Bavaria, GER), 34 participants representing Youth Category U16 participated. The four participating nations Austria, Germany, Italy and Lithuania played in the competitions target competition U16 female and U16 male, target competition/team and Target competition/team Mixed as well as team game.
"I'm happy that with our important youth competition U16 we can again promote the Icestocksport at an international level,” said IFI President Christian Lindner. “The IFI European Youth Grand Prix (EYGP) is the most important junior tournament of the International Federation Icestocksport”. “We hope to motivate one of our new member associations next year to host the event. That would be a real broadening of horizons and of the background“.
